Schlouch Incorporated’s King Chosen as the CFMA Danny B. Parrish Outstanding Leadership Award Recipient for 2023

BLANDON, PA, August 18, 2023 – Schlouch Incorporated, a full-service provider of quality site design and construction services, is pleased to announce that Richard King has been selected as the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA) 2023 Danny B. Parrish Outstanding Leadership Award recipient.
The Danny B. Parrish Outstanding Leadership Award, named after its first recipient, was established by CFMA to recognize and publicly honor a CFMA member who:
– Demonstrates the capacity to inspire and motivate others,
– Exhibits a strong work ethic in achieving outcomes,
– Has the ability to unite various sectors in achieving common goals,
– Is an innovative thinker who has led CFMA to prosper through specific initiatives, and
– Has demonstrated leadership capabilities over a minimum of 10 years of service, including chapter and CFMA organization-wide activities.
Richard King, CPA, CCIFP, is Treasurer/CFO at Schlouch Incorporated. Rich manages all aspects of accounting, finance, IT, insurance, contracts, Human Resources, and administration. Rich earned a BS in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 1986. He joined Schlouch in 1998 and has over thirty-five years’ experience in public accounting and industry.
Rich is a founding member and past President of CFMA’s Greater Berks-Lehigh Valley, PA Chapter. He has served on CFMA’s Executive and Leadership Development, Conference Planning and Heavy/Highway Committees. He also serves as Co-chair for the AEMP-CFMA Heavy Equipment Comparator, Treasurer of the Lehigh Valley Business Coalition on Healthcare, Group Captive Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Building Committee at his church. He is a frequent speaker at CFMA local, regional, and national conferences as well as Con Expo, AICPA construction conferences, software users’ groups and trade association meetings.
The Danny B. Parrish Outstanding Leadership Award was presented at CFMA’s Annual Conference & Exhibition in Denver, CO in July 2023.
