Barry and Deb Schlouch founded Schlouch Incorporated in 1983 in the basement of their home in Berks County, PA to do excavating and utilities. Their first job in 1983 was a $15,000 assignment to prepare a site for Wendy’s Restaurant, located in West Reading.

Today, Schlouch is a company with 275 employees, and expanded services to survey, blasting, concrete, and paving. Schlouch is known as the leading total site preparation specialists in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Schlouch welcomes repeat business from local and regional owners, developers, and contractors, representing over 60% of their direct business. In addition, Schlouch has built a reputation for handling construction management for many national firms.
