BLANDON, PA, February 27, 2012 – Schlouch Incorporated announced today that it is creating 20 new jobs to meet an expanding workload generated by several sizeable new contracts. The news comes as the firm prepares to celebrate its 29th year in business on March 3.
“We are experiencing an increased bidding demand as owners, developers and general contractors begin to bring pending jobs to life. We are winning a good share of those bids,” Barry Schlouch, president and co-founder of Schlouch Incorporated said. “The majority of the new work is on the commercial, industrial, retail and energy construction side. We are seeing some improvement with new residential starts as well.”
Schlouch said that the 20 new jobs cover a broad range of site construction skills including project managers, superintendents, equipment operators and laborers. Interested parties can see the jobs available and apply on the Schlouch website, www.schlouch.com, or come in person to the company’s headquarters at 132 Excelsior Drive, Excelsior Industrial Park, Blandon, PA.
Barry and his wife Deb founded Schlouch Incorporated in their Berks County home on March 3 1983. It has grown into one of the largest regional site preparation companies in Pennsylvania and in 2000 it was ranked as the number one best large company to work for in Pennsylvania.
Schlouch Incorporated specializes in site design and site construction throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
